Here is a great tip I found at Real Simple, after you deep clean your stove top, apply a layer of car wax on the top.  It will make cleanups much easier, things will wipe right off! 

Another great use for car wax is on your shower door.  It definitely worked to prevent any buildup and made cleaning much easier.
